How Juliette Aiyana and Chinese Medicine Can Help You
Juliette Aiyana has over 20 years experience as a natural healer. She has been in practice as an acupuncturist and herbalist in NYC since 2001 and practiced as a massage therapist since 1991. She has taught and lectured at several of the top professional colleges in NYC and the U.S. for Chinese medicine and for massage therapy. She authored the book, “Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine & Healthy Weight Loss” in 2007.
With Chinese medicine she aims treatment at the symptoms of disease and the underlying cause of disease because symptoms tend to reoccur if underlying health issues are ignored. Instead of trying to fit you into a rigid treatment model, Juliette Aiyana, L.Ac., will tailor your treatment to fit your unique set of signs and symptoms. As your health develops and changes so will her treatments. That dynamic progression of energetic evolution manifests as healthy balance in body, mind and spirit. Juliette forms a compassionate and healing rapport with patients, offers effective Chinese medical care and teaches the valuable tools of self-care through patient education.

“My first treatment with Juliette Aiyana, L.Ac., Herbalist was my introduction to acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Juliette really listened to my health concerns and we engaged in a lengthy discussion about my history. She explained what was going on with my body and offered what she thought would be the best method for helping me resolve my health issues. The acupuncture was painless and relaxing. I am looking forward to continuing to work with Juliette”. -KT

“Juliette Aiyana, L.Ac., Herbalist, is a fantastic acupuncturist and all around lifestyle counselor. She’s very warm and caring, and she really listens to what you have to say. She used a variety of techniques such as acupuncture, massage, and hot stones, as well as nutritional and lifestyle counseling.
Juliette was recommended to me by my labor coach, and she was a big help when I was pregnant and had to deal with some issues. I went back to her a year later to deal with some hand and feet issues. Her treatments really helped me through my pregnancy and also brought a lot of fast relief after my hand surgery. Juliette has a very calming presence and she has a lot of good advice that I still use to this day”. – Female Patient, Age 32
“I am so grateful to Juliette Aiyana, L.Ac., Herbalist, for her knowledge regarding Vulvodynia. I came to see her from the UK and she was worked out a programme of herbs and acupuncture for me which she then communicated to my acupuncturist in England. I’m hopeful after 10 years of suffering with this chronic pain condition that there is now a way for me to receive acupuncture that will specifically treat this type of pain, thanks to Juliette.” Female Patient, Age 39
“For any woman suffering from unwanted menstrual symptoms or trying to get pregnant, I would highly recommend getting some needles and herbs from Juliette. She is truly amazing!”
“I had never had acupuncture before, but when my skin disease Pityriasis rosea lasted longer than 8 weeks, I decided to give Juliette Aiyana, L.Ac., Herbalist a try. I went in with red, itchy, swollen skin patches all over my body, and left three weeks later with my skin looking almost back to perfect. As a 22 year old female, in the summer time, this skin virus was a real downer and Juliette helped me gain my skin, and confidence back. Acupuncture works, and I will definitely be back“. – Jessica
“Having a session with Juliette Aiyana, L.Ac., Herbalist is like giving yourself the best gift! She treats her clients holistically and because of this, the sessions have always given me exactly what I needed. I leave there with a sense of balance, and resources for taking the next steps if necessary.
She is such a giving person which is evident in her practice. She helped me so much throughout my pregnancy, as well with other health issues, and she had a lot of invaluable guidance that made the process go smoothly”. -TLS | Read More Patient Endorsements Here

Autumn is a time that provides a cool, crisp breeze in the morning that hits my face and helps me wake up. It represents a time to pick apples so long that my knuckles become scratched and chilled, but it is all worth it when I bite into the perfect, juicy, teeth-aching apple. It means growing a fuller beard for extra warmth. Early autumn stirs thoughts of family and gatherings that will take place in late autumn and early winter. It reminds me that I have to make Bon Appétit’s parsnip, carrot, and potato soup which are tasty autumn...read more
